Once again, the Companion starts with abalone and ends with zwieback. There are approximately 700 new entries covering ethnic and exotic ingredients and techniques. Among the useful features are the conversion charts covering British terminology, pan sizes, and microwave. A must for both beginners and seasoned cooks. 5.Uma Casa Portuguesa
It can be difficult to find anything on the food and cooking of Portugal but this volume has filled the need for authentic Portuguese cooking for years now. Unsurprisingly seafood is featured in many of the dishes and there are several recipes for salt cod, the traditional staple of the nation.
